As Q1 closes, we want to share what we've been building. It's been a quarter of meaningful progress: new capabilities shipped, new talent joined the team, and continued growth that reflects the trust you place in us every day.

Reflecting on Q1 2026

New York State Tax Deferral Calculator

In an upcoming release we will launch a New York State-specific Tax Deferral Calculator, the latest addition to our suite of annuity & insurance tools. New York's unique tax environment has historically made it difficult for advisors & annuity providers to present the full picture of tax-deferred growth to clients.

This calculator provides advisors with the necessary tool to engage on the full impact of tax deferral. Like our existing tax deferral tools, it delivers real-time, personalized illustrations that make complex tax comparisons immediately clear, built to meet New York's regulatory standards and designed to drive advisor confidence.

Continued Investment in Our Analytics Engine

Q1 saw meaningful enhancements across FinMason's core analytics infrastructure. We deepened our fixed income analytics capabilities, extended our Monte Carlo analysis for a wider range of portfolio scenarios, and expanded our risk & performance diagnostics, accessible through the same API-first architecture our clients rely on. We also implemented FinRiver into a Top 5 portfolio construction digital interface servicing tens of thousands of advisors.

Our Business Today

FinPortal has been significantly enhanced to deliver a deeper, more interactive portfolio analytics experience for advisors, asset managers, & end investors. New capabilities include:

  • Charting and visualization tools for expanded correlation and diversification analysis
  • Replacement asset module to help identify more efficient portfolio alternatives
  • Top holdings analysis for greater transparency into concentration risks and exposures
  • Drawdown calculations and charting to better evaluate downside performance across market cycles
  • Rolling risk & return analytics providing a dynamic view of portfolio consistency over time
  • Upgraded reporting functionality making it easier to communicate sophisticated insights through client-ready outputs

By embedding our advanced risk, return, diversification, correlation, & holdings-level analytics into advisor-facing applications, the firm will equip users with deeper insights to build more personalized portfolios aligned to client goals and risk tolerances. FinMason ended Q1 adding new team members across engineering, client services, analytics, and sales. This growth reflects both the increasing demand for our platform and our commitment to delivering at the level our clients expect.

Looking Ahead

The rest of 2026 is shaping up to be our most ambitious year yet. We continue to prioritize the areas we know clients need the most: private assets coverage, deeper fixed income analytics, expanded asset owner data validation and reconciliation, and richer advisor-facing digital experiences. We're also continuing to invest in the tools and calculators that help our insurance and annuity clients demonstrate value at the point of sale.
